BOBBY FITE

Growing up, my three heroes raced Yamahas. Two were factory riders, but only one was named Bobby Fite.

Bobby was more than just my cousin. At times, he was like a big brother, and at other times, he was like a father. But he was always my best friend. He was the one person I could count on through the best and worst of times, no questions asked. When I first considered writing Yellow Nova, Bobby was there to encourage me like only he could. Without his love and support, not a single word of Yellow Nova would have been written—either in this life or the next. I owe him a debt of gratitude for never giving up on me, especially when I wanted to give up on myself. He was the best of the best!
